As Head of IT at Civil Mağazacılık from 2012 to 2021 he led the Azure, HPE SimpliVity, SD-WAN and Nebim V3 data warehouse projects, and received the CIO Award in 2019 and 2021; his SD-WAN project took third place for "Operational Excellence Project of the Year" at BThaber's Technology Captains 2019.
Abdulaziz Akyol is a technology entrepreneur and IT executive based in Istanbul. He is the founder and general manager of CX Teknoloji, founded in 2021 at GTÜ Technopark; the company processes existing IP camera streams on GPU in real time and offers 23 ready-made solutions for retail analytics, occupational safety, manufacturing and logistics. CX Teknoloji is a project partner in the TÜBİTAK 2553-funded GTÜ–NUST smart greenhouse project.
From 2012 to 2021 he was Head of Information Technology at Civil Mağazacılık A.Ş., responsible for the company's entire IT infrastructure, and led the Microsoft Azure migration, the HPE SimpliVity hyperconverged infrastructure, SD-WAN, the Nebim V3 data warehouse and the fastPay mobile payment projects — published as success stories by Microsoft, HPE and Nebim. In 2022 he served as IT Manager at HD Holding.
He received the CIO Award in 2019 and 2021, and his SD-WAN project took third place for "Operational Excellence Project of the Year" at BThaber's Technology Captains 2019. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Sakarya University and COBIT 5, ITIL, PMP and CCNP certifications.
